Go to kennettnet.co.uk There is a software program called music rescue. It takes the songs on your ipod and copies them to your computer. All of your songs will be on your ipod still and also on your computer. I used it the other day. It took a while and it brings up annoying reminders that you need to register (even though you don't). The reminders are every 50 songs. I had 2,328 songs to go through.. I didn't encounter any problems in using this software.
