I own the CDs – I just want the music in mp3 format for the iPod. But Windows Media Player gives the albums nearly useless directory names: Unknown Album (6-20-2006 7-49-05 PM).
and equally cryptic song named: 01 Track 1.mp3. Is there a way to make WMP any smarter about this? Or should I just find a better ripper?
I downloaded WinAmp and it is seeing the names ok. Kenny Burell’s Blue Muse is the album. WMP couldn’t figure out Pat Matheney or any other. It looks like in Windows Media Player in Tools/Options/Privacy you have to check Update Music Files by retrieving media info from the internet. And then that works too. Winamp freebie seems slower than the Windows Media Player so I’ll probably go back to it. Thanks!

while i am surfing i am disconnected suddenly by IE. a diap up window pops up. I use a router which is connected 24/7. yet i get disconnected eveyr few mins. is this a setting problem? i use win XPand ADSL connection. SOS
i am using Win XP. my router is connected 24/7 but IE tend to bring my ADSL connection dial up window (even though this ADSL is connected through the router). it disconnects evevy few mins. and the ADSL disal up window pops up. what should i do?

Is having central air on 24/7 cheaper than having ac’s in the windows/walls on 24/7 ??

Not to mention that so many men think its easier! My husband says “its like a vacation! You don’t have to really work.”. Is cleaning toilets, sweeping and mopping, vacuuming, bathing the dog, cleaning the cat box, doing dishes three times a day, cooking three meals a day, dusting, cleaning tables and windows, constantly picking up toys, grocery shopping, going to doctors, registering for school, doing laundry for four people, managing and paying the bills, all with a three and a five year old, not working?? Did I miss the memo??

When I was using ver 7.5 it was ok. Now in this new version, I always stay Invisible and try to contact my friends, that time, when I try to Buzz (i.e. in the Instant Message window Action -> Buzz) the messenger does a signing out and signing in
