I have windows Millennium edition. How can I upgrade to windows 2000 NT professional I have the CD Someone give it to me I cannot afford anything else. LINUX is OK but I have applications that will work. On windows Millennium edition and windows 2000 NT professional .

I have a 10GB hard drive 128mb SDRAM CPU AMD 543 socket 7 star motherboard date 1996
I Would Over clock is baby to 133mb

Hi, everytime I turn my computer on it loads up perfectly, but then it pops up with a message saying that Windows SQL Server NT has encountered a problem and needs to close. It doesnt effect the computer its just really annoying. Im not very good with computers so if someone can figure this one out can they please give me a step by step way to get rid of it.

Windows millennium has better cpabilities for internet use.
windows ME and Windows 98SE win98se is the better performing OS.

What is your options on the best operating system.
To me it is windows millennium and windows 98.
Windows NT 2000 has the best performance to. What are your options on these or whatever operating system you're using.

Hey I recently bought a new Windows Vista computer but when I tryed installing Warcraft 3 rain of chaos i Get a message that says "Windows NT is not supported for Warcraft 3". How can i fix this and how can i find this program?

Ok i have a problem with my pc. I dont get anything when my computer starts up except the background and task manager. I think i got a solution for this,

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"Shell"="explorer.exe"

I dont understand what shell means here i got as far as login but what is this sell thing i know i have to change the value of that 'shell' to explorer.exe.

Any help would be appreciated!
