I’m building multi monitor systems for Windows XP and Windows Vista. I’m wondering if a PCI-Express video card will work in a standard PCI slot. I am aware that PCI-X RAID controllers will work in normal PCI slots. When answering please cite reliable internet source. Specific card I would like to work in PCI slot is a EVGA Geforce 7600GTS .
Please cite specific source when replying. If answer is “No” please explain why adaptec PCI-X Raid card works in PCI slot (at reduced performance)

I have a question for the non savvies. What would you like to learn about PC’s? I’m building CDs for the unsavvy, and I’d like some suggestions. not internet, thats on internet section for suggestions. just your regular windows xp computer. also, is ten lessons with videos for $5 good price? let me know!

I am very experienced in building and upgrading PC’s especially Compaq Deskpro and EVO line. I have a home network running Win XP 2003 with 2 servers and 6 Wkstn. I am runnin XP Media Edition on a P4 1600 Mhz system accessing my servers for Images, Videos, MP3. and other media files. I can not get my HD Cable input to run clear and smoothly. So I looking for the best workstation for running Windows XP/ME. What is you recommendation and WHY? Thanks
