How do I go back to Messenger 7 or 7.5? Where do I go to download it?

I hate Messenger 8.0. Every time I click on something in the Chat window it logs me off of messenger entirely!

Messenger 8 doing weird things w/ “current” window?

Ok, i finally got past the ‘script’ errors, and now when i open an IM, after a few seconds it makes the MAIN window (where your contacts are) active, so i can’t type….it wont keep the new opened Chat w/ PersonX window ‘active’…it stays up, but if i click on it (to start typeing in it) then after a few seconds i can’t type in it anymore (main Yahoo Messenger window active again).

has ANYONE experienced this? ANY ideas / solutions before i go back to version 7 ?

I cannot get into the chat rooms either with YM 7.5 or Beta 8 versions. HELP!!! THNX!?

I cannot get into the chat rooms. I tried using either the old Yahoo Messenger 7.5 or the new Beta Version 8 but neither will do. It seems that the problem started when I switched from Windows XP Home to XP Professional. Is this problem possible? I tried to follow all the possible answers I can get from the CHAT HELP pages but to no avail.
