How do I make a Windows XP boot cd?
I have a copy of Windows XP Professional on my hard drive (fully licensed, but I can’t find the cd). The files are a .bin file, a .nfo file, and a .cue file, with the bulk of course being the .bin file. I will be wiping my hard drive and reinstalling, and so I need to be able to boot the clean system from cd-rom. Do I need to do anything special to make a bood cd, or can I just burn these files onto the disk?
I might have used the wrong term. It seems that the site the first answerer posted (which was good) considers a “boot disk” to be a floppy. I want to boot straight from cd-rom.

Why does my CD drive copy music CDs so slowly?
I’m using a 48x CD-ROM drive with iTunes 7 to import my music into mp3’s, only it starts to copy at or around 2.5x, never going faster than 6x and sometimes dipping down to 0.2x.
I’ve used mostly store-bought music CD’s, tried changing the bitrate, left iTunes as the only application running all with similar results. On a friend’s computer (not that different from my own) they copy considerably faster. Could it be the drive’s settings? iTunes doesn’t seem to have settings for this.
My computer is running Windows XP SP2, Celeron 1.7GHz processor, 128MB DDR RAM.
