I was playing the Sims (for PC) and the game exited by itself!?

I had been playing for about an hour, and I didn’t save, and for no reason I can think of, it shut down. The game didn’t even save, just quit, and that’s it. Why????? More Info: I have 2 expansion packs, legitimate not burned, and it’s on a Windows XP home eddition. The games are relitively new.
It’s happend more than once, but it doesn’t happen all the time. It probably happens 33% of the times I play it.

Same god mn problem with doom3?
went out and bought another, got expansion pack too. Figured with diffrernt Id code problem would be solved. Wrong! Both products exihibit same results except the expansion pack shows 29 warnings! With everything from sound to body parts 1 and 2 with alot of crazy code stuff i have know knowledge about. This is only when accessing the cheat window. The doom games are the only games that have these problems. The game play is fine though ultra high settings no lag. Gotta love Nvidia 7 series cards! Ran virus scan, there are none. still have 204 gigs on hard drive. Plenty of ram. very frustrating!
Cheats still don’t work after typing in will try waiting 3o seconds or so while in the cheat window?

Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath trailer
Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath is an expansion pack in development for the real-time strategy video game Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. It is expected to be released in the beginning of 2008 for Windows and Xbox 360.
New features:
* New units, upgrades, powers and structures for each of the three factions (Global Defense Initiative, Brotherhood of Nod & Scrin).
* Each of the factions gets two subfactions which each have unique special units, upgrades and powers to cater for more specialised styles of play. Bringing the total number of playable factions to 9.
* 24+ new multiplayer maps.
* New interface features for Xbox 360, which allows the players to control their base from anywhere on the map, much like the Windows version.
* A new World Domination mode.
New Units : GDI Hover-Tank with mounted Sonic Emmitter (Shatterer), a hover Anti-Aircraft vehicle (SlingShot), Cyborg Nod Infantry (The Awakened), An armoured APC for Nod (Reckoner), A new Nod stealthed artilery piece (Specter) and lastly a helicopter-like aircraft (Hammerhead).
