I heard that Vista will need a little more power than XP from the CPU. I’m getting ready to purchase an AMD Athlon X2 4600 with 2GB Mushkin RAM and 250 GB Hard Drive. I plan on doing some video editing (think “Star Wars Kid” on EbaumsWorld.com), I also plan on running a few small applications at a time. Do you think my system will be able to handle stuff like this?

Attempted to install Mandriva 2006 and it didn’t work. LILo was installed and I would like to remove it. Can’t seem to find anything about removal in Mandriva site. Is there a way to remove the LILO Bootloader without damaging my harddrive?

I don’t want to clean off my Hard drive! I just want to revert back.
