How do you import audio files into Windows Movie Maker??

As a gift for my grandparents and the rest of are family, I am creating a DVD about us. I did one for my mom’s work party last year, and it turned out great. This year, however, I am having some trouble. I had an iTunes gift card which I used to buy background music (this is a slideshow) and picked out 7 songs. They are I Will Always Love You, Jingle Bell Rock, Wedding March, Surfin USA, Seasons of Love, Bithday, and We Are Family. I moved them to my desktop, but when I go to add audio files it doesnt show up. What should I do?

Does Yahoo host movies? I created a slide show in Windows Movie Maker.?

I saved it as a Windows Media Audio/Video file. The slide show is huge – 57.7 MB, too big for anyone’s computer to handle. I wonder if I can upload it via Yahoo and send the link to my friends and family so they can watch it.

Why does Windows Movie Maker burn ripped video at 4:3 when it was originally 16:9?

I ripped a few sections of video from DVD’s that I own to make a compilation of some favorite chase and fight scences for my own personal use. The clips were in 16:9 format and were ripped using the Windows version of Handbrake 7.0. However, when I string the clips together in Windows Movie Maker (part of XP Media Center) – it burns them to DVD at what appears to be 4:3 – except its not quite as wide.

Any ideas or suggestions for a fix or for good, free DVD authoring software? Thanks!!
